PMS Comfort—A Natural Solution to Premenstrual Symptoms

PMS Comfort—A Natural Solution to Premenstrual SymptomsOur PMS Comfort Herbal formulation was developed by Dr. Daniel Heller based on 20 years of clinical experience with thousands of patients, as well as decades of research into medicinal plants and women’s health. Now new and improved, this proprietary herbal combination is only available from PMS Comfort. It is a gentle yet powerful healing blend that helps your body balance hormones and emotions, helping you to achieve a healthy, symptom-free cycle. PMS Comfort is a premium, doctor-quality formulation in a 100% vegetarian capsule. Our product contains NO alcohol.

Nearly all the ingredients in our formula are purified extracts, which means they are concentrated, so a little goes a long way. It also means that you know that the herbs in the bottle are fresh, and that their potency is guaranteed. Unlike less expensive women’s products, we use the finest available herbal concentrates. Other brands rely on dried, powdered herbs that may have been sitting on a shelf, gradually losing their potency and medicinal qualities, for years and years. In fact, formulas that aren’t guaranteed potency may even be made from the wrong plant! The herbs in PMS Comfort Herbal are guaranteed to be fresh, potent, properly identified, and sourced from only the finest herbal materials. They are then inspected and tested to make sure they are clean and pure before they’re put in a capsule, and before we put our name on them.

PMS Comfort Herbal has no known side effects*. It is considered safe to use while breastfeeding or while taking antidepressants. PMS Comfort Herbal should not be taken during pregnancy, and should be discontinued if you become, or may become, pregnant. PMS Comfort should not be taken at the same time as birth control hormones, because the synthetic hormones are so strong they will overpower the effect of the herbs. There is also a theoretical possibility that the balancing properties of the herbs will counteract birth control, rendering it ineffective.

Here's what makes the PMS Comfort Herbal so unique

  • Chaste Tree Berry Purified Extract:
Chaste Tree Berry, also known by its Latin name Vitex agnus-castus, has been the subject of more research on PMS and PMDD than any other herbal medicine, and has been compared favorably to prescription medication in several studies. We’ve use the same concentration and dosage of chastetree extract as that prescribed by doctors for PMS and PMDD in many European countries, where herbal traditions are integrated into regular medical practice.
  • Passionflower Purified Extract:
Passionflower, also known by its Latin name Passiflora incarnata, is a valuable herbal remedy that helps calm and soothe the nervous system. This makes it perfectly suited to help soothe PMS and PMDD anxiety, tension, stress, anger and sleep troubles. The combination of passionflower and chastetree is supremely effective for women’s premenstrual issues.
  • Motherwort Powder:
Motherwort, also known by its Latin name Leonorus cardiaca, is a time-honored remedy in both American and European herbal traditions, where it is often included in formulas for women’s health, and menstrual and premenstrual problems. As its name indicates, it is sometimes used in pregnancy because of its ability to soothe and calm the uterus—a wonderful quality for an herb that also helps soothe premenstrual anxiety, irritability, and anger. Motherwort is the only herb in our formula that isn’t in purified extract form, because it is only available as a powdered herb. Fortunately, motherwort does its job perfectly well in this form.
  • Dong Quai Purified Extract:
In traditional Chinese herbal medicine, where herbal medicines have been used safely and effectively for centuries, Dong Quai is the "emperor" of women's herbs. It is considered to both build and invigorate the blood, and to regulate the menses. Dong Quai is also known by its Latin name, Angelica sinensis. It is an essential component of one of the most important herbal formulas—known as Xiao Yao San, or Bupleurum and Dong Quai combination—commonly used by Chinese herbalists and traditional doctors and healers to treat PMS, tension, and depression.
  • Thoroughwax Purified Extract:
Thoroughwax, or Bupleurum, is considered a regulator of energy and emotion in traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine. The Chinese name for this herb is Chai Hu. It is an important component of one of the most valuable herbal formulas—known as Xiao Yao San, or Bupleurum and Dong Quai combination—commonly used by Chinese herbalists and traditional doctors and healers to treat PMS, tension, and depression.
  • White Peony Purified Extract:
This medicinal plant is also known by its Latin name, Paeonia lactiflora, or its Chinese name, Bai Shao. In traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine, Bai Shao nourishes the blood and regulates the menses, making it one of the best women’s herbs, and a perfect complement to Dong Quai and the other choice women’s herbs in the PMS Comfort Herbal formula. It is an vital component of one of the most essential herbal formulas—known as Xiao Yao San, or Bupleurum and Dong Quai combination—commonly used by Chinese herbalists and traditional doctors and healers to treat PMS, tension, and depression.
  • Black Cohosh Purified Extract:
Black cohosh has been used in western herbal traditions for women's concerns for decades, and is considered to be a hormone balancer and regulator. Its Latin name is Cimicifuga racemosa. Herbalists have long used Black Cohosh for women of all ages, to help bring the menstrual cycle and premenstrual symptoms back into balance. Since many women experience an increase in premenstrual symptoms as they enter their perimenopausal years, this herb—as well as the PMS Comfort Herbal formula overall—helps with premenstrual symptoms whether you are 18 or 45.
  • Peppermint Leaf Extract:
The mint plant is familiar to us from the garden, as well as a source of flavoring for candies and desserts. However, in traditional Chinese Herbal medicine it is another component of one of the most important herbal formulas—known as Xiao Yao San, or Bupleurum and Dong Quai combination—commonly used by Chinese herbalists and traditional doctors and healers to treat PMS, tension, and depression.
  • Vitamin B6:
We complement the select medicinal plants in our herbal formula with just the right amount of this crucial B vitamin, which is so important for maintaining a healthy mood and healthy hormones.
